Suicide
By: The Rulemaster
Suicide is a fast and simple drinking card game that can get you drunk fast and with minimal effort. While this game is best played with a large group of friends, it also works well for smaller groups.
What You Need
- A standard deck of playing cards
- 6-plus players
- Beer or your choice of alcohol
Setting Up
Have all of the players sit around a table. Set up the game by shuffling the deck of cards well. Once shuffled, set the deck in the center of the table. Flip the top card over and up so that the value can be seen. Pay attention to what suit this card is as that will become the game’s drinking suit.
Rules
During the game, each player takes turns flipping over a card from the top of the deck. If the player flips a card that is in the same suit as the drinking card, that player must drink for whichever number of seconds the number is on the card. For example, if the card is a 6, they must drink for 6 seconds. Face cards all count as 10 and Aces count as 13.
If you flip over a card that is a non-drinking suit, you do not have to drink and the next player goes. Once you have gone through the entire deck, shuffle all of the cards again and turn the top card over. If a suit is drawn that is different than the original suit drawn at the beginning of the game, both of those suits become the drinking suits.
The same concept applies for the third suit, and finally the fourth suit which would require that you drink on every card drawn. While there is no clear winner in the game of Suicide, it can be fun to play.
